Back Shaver

A terrific design. I think the quality of materials affect the ease of use i.e. removing the extension arm is quite tricky and takes some force and the tiny screws for changing out the blade I think will round off after a little while.

Terrible, came damaged and had no recourse.

Takes a little while to get the the angles right but once I did, this gave me the smoothest shave out of any product I’ve tried. I have thick back hair and this didn’t get stuck or pull on my hair like electric shavers do.

A screw stripped on shaver head and I can’t change the blade. Brand new with full pack of replacement blades and it is now useless to me. I haven’t heard back from sigma yet since I tried contacting them??!!

Product is fine. The frosting refrivijgvthe product was brutal and the initial communication was lacking. They should have told me up front it would take months to receive the product.

I love it, easy peasy quick and does NOT hurt which is perfect. However, it leaves missed spots due to the curves on the body I almost wish the razor was pushed out just a tiny bit more so it’s not as protected. I already recommended it to my family and friends!

You guys are a terrible incompetent company. First you sold me a product that you didn’t have in stock. Then you promised half off and the product asap. No half off and the product was over a month late. So I emailed you saying I didn’t want it and just a refund would be fine. No answer. About 2 weeks later i get it in the mail. Terrible customer service. Terrible company. Will tell everybody I know to never do business with you guys. Thanks

The design of this shaver is really simple. I was a bit skeptical because of the low price. However, it’s simple to use and has effectively moved my Sasquatch level down to a regular guy with a smooth back.

I find the overall design to be effective, however, I would have hoped for a rope or hole at the base to hang it in my shower with. in addition, using soap seems to reduce the effectiveness of the blade and at the end, i was not able to get a clean shave across the entire back as expected. It may be perhaps it was my first time, but you know what they say, 'first impressions' are everything. I will certainly keep trying but hope that the company reconsiders some of its design elements and recommendations for a more complete shave. (perhaps even a video that highlights the most effective technique).

The head is way to wide. Does a terrible job if you workout and have muscular back. It may work for people you has a bigger back.

Very easy to use and works great. You don't have to spend alot of money to great results. I would highly recommend this product.

Have been through several electric back shavers over the years, none of them lasted very long or did a decent job. The Sigma back shaver exceeds expectations. Have only used it twice so far but it’s done a great job with no nicks or irritation. Love the fact that it takes double edge blades which are cheap to buy. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Product works as intended. Had a crack in the top cover at receipt and customer service was great. Sent a replacement right away.

Works well. My only suggestion is an easier way to change the blades. Screw heads are too small and two are way too close to the main part of the handle. Hard to get a screwdriver onto them. Also, include a decent screwdriver to fit these screws. (Yes, at a a reasonable up-charge.)

I will start off by saying I have sensitive skin. I used this product on my chest, shoulders and my entire back. I experienced no irritations, cuts, nicks or scratches. I don’t give out Completely Satisfied unless I am Completely Satisfied. I wholeheartedly recommend this product. Job well done!

Simple, effective and fairly easy to use. The better your technique gets the better it works. Some people that have shoulder problems or flexibility issues may find it difficult. The tiny screws for blade changing seem like they would be the first thing to go wrong, but so far so good!

This razor is the bomb!!! I've been using electric razors for my back for years. I'd leave the bathroom looking like I was just assaulted by wild animals when I was done lol. I'd have to go over the same area over and over to get it to cut, an awful experience every time. Took me over an hour each time, usually an hour and a half to do my back and shoulders. It was hell and I'd have to schedule time to do it because i always knew it would take so long. Top electric razors which will remain anonymous to protect the guilty. Anyway, I did a shave today, 10 minutes. No redness, no abrasions, no pain. Sigma needs to market this worldwide and just take over the whole body grooming industry with this nifty device. A total game changer. Customer support is awesome too. I can't recommend this groomer highly enough! If you are on the fence, just buy it and thank me later. BTW, I'm not getting any discounts or kickbacks at all. I just want people to know how great the product is!

Terrible

Works very well, easy to use, changing the blades is very easy to do. Very satisfied with the results after shaving using this product.

Surprised me, light and makes really easy to reach all areas in the back. Very safe, if by mistake you move the blade side way instead of in the pulling pathway you do not get cuts, which happens with regular shaving blades. Recommend to give it a try. there are many good videos reviews around in internet but I don't feel I waste my money when bought it and tried. It delivered the expected results Thank you

This shaver work perfect the first use

I was a bit of a skeptic at first, but I must say the product is awesome! Very pleased with the purchase and I would definitely recommend to anyone in the market for it. I am happy I came across Sigma and will buy more products from them in the future when the need arises.

Love the back shaver and the blades I bought with it. Had a problem with getting the screws out to change the blade and sigma customer service responded immediately. Top notch in my opinion.

This is perfect for getting rid of male back fuzz. No cuts or scratches and it took a fraction of the time that it used to take with a normal razor. If you have any issues with back fuzz there is no reason not to buy this.

The ease of use, price, and ability to replace razor blades makes this one of the best back shavers you can get.

I’ve only used once, but I love this back shaver! I have a fairly long torso at 6’ 2” and I could reach my entire back with ease and without a single nick. Just let gravity and the weight of the shaver do the work. As an added bonus, it feels great, like a back scratcher. Can’t wait to use it again.

Good razor. Fucked myself up first chance I had putting the razors in the contraption. Total fluke! Bled everywhere. Got my shit together and had success! Back hair is history and only needed a couple bandaids.

Only used it once so far.Was’nt so sure at first,but the longer I used it the more comfortable I became with it.Shaving your own back can be tricky ‍.And as for me I don’t shave my back that often.I was pleased with how close it shaved.No cuts or scrapes.

The Sigma back shaver is a great grooming tool. The day I got it, I used it to dry shave my back and shoulders. I'm a 75 year old man who had never owned a back shaver. I love everything about it. It's great that it comes apart in the middle to make it easier to shave the around the shoulders and upper back, and the put the extension on for the lower back. And being frugal, what really sold me was being able to turn the 3 blades over and use them again, and then being able to replace the blades with inexpensive quality blades. Sigma, you have a great product and I hope this review helps to get the word out!

Great value and works well. Could be improved by making it easier to replace the blades without needing to remove screws, but given the affordable price this is still a fantastic buy.

I was not able to shave my back in over 10 years. Any other solution was just lame. With this device, it took me less than a minute, I am serious. I reached my entire back with no problem, and the result was smooth real as if I was 17 years old (I am 48). It is perfect, I can now go to the beach just fine here in Miami. The problem with the other devices was that they cut from the top, not from an angle, they looked perpendicular to the skin, and they needed to be parallel to it so the blades could cut. This device does the job right and in just one pass.

I should have ordered the Sigma back shaver years ago and saved myself from the dreaded Back Shaving Day! Finally, I have a smooth back without the struggle of performing the weekly awkward contortion act. I always had trouble reaching the center of my back, but confound that with adjusting the direction of the razor to shave against the hair growth grain...it was a show that would rival a T-Rex trying to scratch its back! This little shaver left no stubble in its wake! The wide blade quickly cleared my back hair in 2 minutes

I'm extremely hairy all over..and have tried everything on the market. I've even came up with a few clever ideas myself. But nothing beats this product!!! It is by far the best by far .not only does it do a fantastic job, and fast I might add ....but no more ordering blade cartridges to fit my old products...I go out and get my old favorites now ...huuuum!!!! I guess you can say I've come around full circle lol. I'm using blades I first started shaving with .....great product and I thank you ....

Not even sure how I came across this website but ordered the back shaver and it's amazing! After playing around with it for a bit I could tell there was no way it would cut me and now I can shave worry-free. My wife is happy to be relieved of helping me every few months too haha.

I was using bakblade 1.0 which I liked. Then they upgraded the product to 2.0 and it was definitely 2 steps back. So I researched other products and found this. It blows the competition away. And does not rely on proprietary blades. Total win

My first time using this, I was really pleased with how it took off the hair and how the long arm ensured a clean back. Would definitely recommend.

The razor works well. My back is smooth. The only drawback is the 4 small screws to take out to change the blades.

Works well and easy to use. I'm very muscular and it wouldn't get the hair along my spine on the lower back. I just used a regular razor for that as I could reach it. That being said I doubt any back shaver would do better. All in all, I'm pleased.

This is my first ever back shaving product that I bought. I was just tired of asking family to help me with it. It works surprisingly well. I was skeptical and hesitant at first, but after using it I like it. The safeguards are really nice to have that way you're not cutting up your back. But I still take my time and go slow because there's still a possibility of nicks and cuts. I like the close shave it gives. It is also easy to use with the long handle giving me access to my entire back. The handle is also surprisingly sturdy. Only difficulty is not being able to see your entire back while shaving. Other than that, great product!

Excellent product and value. Would give it 5 stars if it were more grippy since it can get slippery in the shower with shaving cream. Better than other products I’ve used before. Easy to maintain too.

Worked awesome, my back is like a baby’s but

Super easy to use, I don't have to ask my wife to shave my back any more! The little comb gathers up the hairs, razors make quick work of them. Can be used wet or dry, but if you use it wet you should probably dry it open or just dispose of the blades. Blades are dirt cheap, seem to last a while, at least 3 shaves, remember you can turn them around to the other side so theoretically you could get 6 shaves from one set of blades. Which should make one set last me about a month, which is awesome. I bought this just to try it out, now I'm getting one for my dad and my brother!

Works great, wide cutting head to finish grooming faster. Uses regular double edge shaving razors which are a whole lot cheaper to replace than refills for the BACK BLADE.

I have purchased the powered shavers in the past. They work well, but no where near as well as the Sigma shaver. Glides over the back, handle works well to reach where you need to.

Excellent product. My back looks like a wooly mammoth unless my wife keeps it cleaned up. The sigma shaver allows me to take care of it myself. I did cut myself a couple of times, but those are completely on me. The product description should tell you if you move the razor side to side, it will allow it to cut the skin. learned the hard way. But use it as it is intended and it is an awesome product. There is a pretty steep learning curve, for me at least, to use it in the mirror.

This worked better than I expected! Very pleasant surprise. I am 6'4" and was able to reach my entire back and it took me less than 15 min. Next time I will be faster since this was my first time using it and had been a long time since I last shaved. It was a very close shave and I was worried about razor burn but it didn't happen. I am glad I finally decided to buy this for myself.

This shaver works as advertised. Did a good job at shaving my back and chest. The only complaint I have is the removing of the blades after each use. That’s a pain and I foresee stripped or lost screws in my future. I’d still buy again and recommend this product.

It just plain works! For me I prefer dry shaving. I was skeptical when I opened the box and saw the razor with the massive head, but after trying it a few times I’m very pleased with results. The shave was close and surprisingly comfortable. It’s not an elegant tool but it does the job quite nicely.

Nice shaver. There is an extension that we can remove/replace which is a great idea. Love the travel bag that is provided with it too. Great buy!

Unboxed and tried in the shower. Runs on back really smooth. No tugging. Not superrr close shave, but I don’t mind cause I get ingrown easily
